GreyFusion PC Checker
A car gets a service once a year. Your computer needs the same thing, and nobody ever does it. PC Checker does the whole service for you — one button, about fifteen minutes, then a report you can actually read.
What it actually does
These are the five jobs we'd do ourselves if you handed us the computer. In this order, because each one depends on the last.
Windows updates
Finds and installs the updates Windows is holding back — including the optional ones most people never see, which is where a lot of driver and printer problems get fixed.
Core Windows files
Runs Windows' own repair tools (SFC and DISM) to find damaged system files and put them back. This is the usual cause of a computer that has slowly got stranger over the years.
Malware and infection scan
A full scan using Microsoft Defender's command-line scanner, which goes deeper than the quick scan that runs in the background.
Browser updates
Checks Chrome and Firefox are up to date. An out-of-date browser is the single most common way people get caught out online.
Office updates
Checks Word and Excel are current, so documents open properly and known security holes are closed.
You stay in control
At the end you get a report. Nothing is sent to us automatically — if you'd like us to look at it, you choose to send it. If you'd rather just read it yourself, that's fine too.

You'll need Windows 11
The PC Checker runs on Windows 11. It isn't available for Windows 10, or for Mac.

For £99 a year you get the PC Checker and a full health check we do ourselves (worth £45), unlimited advice from someone who knows your setup, and a remote session to get it all set up with you. That is £50 more than the software on its own.
