Ever heard you should let your battery drain to 0% before charging it back up? That's an old myth left over from older battery types — and it's not true for modern phones, tablets and laptops!
Here's the truth for today's lithium-ion batteries:
✅ DO charge little and often — short top-ups throughout the day are fine
✅ DO try to keep your battery between 20% and 80% for the longest lifespan
❌ DON'T let it constantly run all the way down to 0%
❌ DON'T leave it on charge at 100% for days on end if you can help it
Following these simple habits can help your devices last longer and save you money on replacements down the line!
