🚨 Fake Parcel Texts Are Back — Here's How to Stay Safe

Got a text saying your parcel couldn't be delivered and asking you to click a link or pay a small fee? 🤔 That's one of the most common scams in the UK right now — and it's costing people thousands of pounds every year!

Scammers pretend to be Royal Mail, DPD, Evri, and other couriers to trick you into handing over your card details. Here's how to protect yourself:

✅ DO:

• Check the sender name — real couriers use proper IDs like "Royal Mail" or "DPD", not random mobile numbers

• Track your parcel by going DIRECTLY to the courier's official website (type it in yourself!)

• Report suspicious texts for free by forwarding to 7726

🚫 DON'T:

• Click any links in unexpected delivery texts — even if they look real

• Pay a "re-delivery fee" through a link in a text message

• Enter your card details anywhere that a text message sent you to
